Okay, so, I gotta share my experience with finding these SOD Priest Runes. Man, it was a journey, let me tell you!
First off, I started hitting up those Runestone Tactics levels. I hammered that first level over and over again. I thought it was going to be easier, but it was still kind of a grind. The runes didn’t drop all the time, but I did get a few this way. Honestly, it felt like forever, but I pushed through.
Getting My Meditate On
Then, I found out about this whole meditation thing. Apparently, to really learn these runes, you gotta have at least one “Meditation” buff, and sometimes even two! Each buff lasts for, like, four hours, and the cool part is, they stick with you even if you die. That’s a relief, ’cause I tend to, you know, die a lot.
- Humans and Dwarves: I play a Human, so I could meditate at places like Northshire Abbey. I also found out later that the Stormwind Cathedral altar stairs are another place. If you’re a Dwarf, I read that Anvilmar and some Altars of Light in Loch Modan work too.
Putting It All Together
So, I did a mix of both. I spent time grinding those Runestone Tactics levels for some quick wins. And then I got serious about meditating in these holy spots to get those buffs. It was kind of a pain to travel to these places, kneel down, and wait for the buff. But, I was committed to learning those runes! I felt like some kind of holy warrior doing this.
Other Random Thoughts
This whole thing kind of reminded me of that K-drama, “Twenty Five, Twenty One.” Remember how Na Hee-Do and Back Yijin had all these obstacles? Finding these runes felt like that sometimes – a real struggle, but you know, worth it in the end. Kind of like playing best ball in golf, where even if you mess up, you have a teammate to back you up. My teammates were basically those Runestone Tactics levels and the meditation spots.
Anyway, that’s my story of how I finally got those Priest runes in SOD. It was a lot of work, but hey, I did it! Hope this helps someone else out there trying to figure this stuff out. Don’t give up!
