Man, I just spent the whole weekend messing around with this new thing in World of Warcraft – the Season of Discovery. I’m telling you, it’s wild! I decided to roll a Rogue, ’cause, why not? Sneaky, stabby, sounds fun, right?
So, I’m running around, doing the usual newb stuff, and I hear about these things called Runes. Apparently, they’re like these special power-ups you can find. I was like, “Heck yeah, I gotta get me some of those!”
First off, I heard there were a bunch of these Runes just chilling in Elwynn Forest and Stormwind. Easy peasy, I thought. I started with this one called Deadly Brew. This thing is cool – it makes your poisons even more deadly. I mean, as if they weren’t already! I found it pretty quickly, just had to poke around a bit. It felt good, slotting that into my gear, like I was already getting stronger.
Then there was this Rune of Slaughter, another one for the chest slot. This bad boy makes some of your skills cheaper to use. Less energy, more stabbing, what’s not to love? I grabbed that one too, and I was starting to feel like a real badass. I even found these Divine Towers that are key to unlocking runes, it was hard to find but I got it.

I was on a roll, but I gotta say, the real MVPs for leveling up were this Slaughter from the Shadows and Cutthroat. These two are game changers, seriously. They make your attacks way more efficient. I spent a good chunk of time hunting these down, and let me tell you, it was worth it. It’s like, you hit harder, you hit faster, and everything just flows better.

After all that, I felt like I had barely scratched the surface. There are like, 12 of these Runes for each class! I’ve only messed around with a few, but it’s got me super hyped to see what else is out there. I’m thinking this Season of Discovery thing is gonna be a regular weekend thing for me. Finding these Runes, trying out new combos, it’s like the game just got a whole lot bigger. So yeah, that was my weekend. Pretty productive, I’d say.
