She’s all about fashion and booze, never misses a chance to hit the nightclub. If there’s a party, Patsy’s already there, sippin’ on somethin’ strong and laughin’ at the rest of ‘em. She and Edina are like two peas in a pod—always gettin’ themselves into trouble, but stickin’ together through thick and thin.
Now, the two of ’em, they live in a world that’s just a little bit out of touch with reality. They’ve got money problems, sure, but they’ll still spend it all on some silly new outfit or some expensive drink, ’cause that’s just the way they are. They got no sense of the world outside their own little bubble of glamor, drugs, and wild behavior.
Absolutely Fabulous is all about that lifestyle—reckless, hilarious, and a little bit sad all at the same time. They ain’t perfect, far from it, but you can’t help but watch ’em and think, “Well, they might not have it all together, but they sure do have fun tryin’.” You see all the chaos around ‘em, and you end up feelin’ sorry for ’em and rootin’ for ‘em all at once.
And let’s not forget the rest of the characters in the show, like Edina’s daughter, Saffron. She’s the opposite of her mother—practical, smart, and always tryin’ to keep Edina and Patsy from doin’ somethin’ stupid. Poor girl is always in the middle, tryin’ to clean up their messes.
