I used GoodLeap for a roofing loan. Roofers replaced sheathing in the rain causing a bunch of interior water damage. I promptly notified GoodLeap. A few days later they paid the roofer in full. Hard to demand prompt and full repairs from someone who's been paid in full. Thanks for nothing, GoodLeap!

I was only a few days late due to the government shutdown. They constantly emailed, texted and called to request permission to take money out of my account. Told them I would pay as soon as I had the money in my account. Still tried to pressure me to schedule a withdrawal but I couldn't guarantee when I would get my government check. I understand they need their pmts on time but have some sympathy for someone with excellent credit history and no other missed payments until the government shutdown.

We had a great experience with GoodLeap. We purchased a new HVAC system through our AC guy who uses GoodLeap for their financing partner. The rate and terms were what we agreed to and we were able to pay off early with no penalties. Their customer service was always great and helpful. Overall 10/10

I had my shingle roof replaced by a company that Good Leap uses. I got a cheaper bid from another roofer, but I was not allowed to use them. After Good Leap's roofers were finished, I noticed major damage to the overhang part of the roof. The 24 inched that were visible were destroyed by the long nails that went through. Hundreds of them. Causing splintered wood all around the house. I talked to Sun Run, the roofing company and Good Leap and they all said there is nothing they can do about about. They didn't care about the damage. Only their money. Interest rates will triple what I'll have to pay for the loan not to mention the damage

DO NOT USE GoodLeap! We purchased a home with a preexisting solar loan that we had to assume. They would not release any information regarding payment terms or even balance before we qualified, and then we had to assume the loan at the original terms even though we qualified for a better interest rate. We ended up paying off the loan in full (over $11,000) once the home purchase was complete, but now they are still saying we owe $33. Their customer service is only available Monday through Friday, and even then, you can't get hold of anyone, and they don't respond to online customer inquiries.

How do I check the reviews prior to having my solar finance through them? I would never have gotten solar. They are a terrible company they lie and give you the biggest runaround. I dealt with that for six months I wish I would’ve never ever done business with them.
